Magazine Update and Patternbook Sale!

There's great news for those of you who missed out on the Winter-Spring 2010 issue Knitscene. Our first shipment of this eagerly anticipated magazine sold out in a matter of days. (No surprise, considering Connie Chang Cinchio's Geodesic Cardigan, pictured above, is already in more than 1500 cues on Ravelry). We've just received a bonus shipment so hurry down and pick up your copy before they're gone for good!

We're also getting a jump on spring cleaning by marking down our inventory of back issues of Knitter's, Interweave Knits and Interweave Crochet, as well as selected pattern books from Berroco and Classic Elite. This is a chance to get some stock up on some great stash-busting inspiration at bargain prices of up to 40% off the regular price!

Introduction to Two-Colour Knitting

Ever wondered how to manage two colours at the same time over an entire row without getting the two yarns tangled up? Learn how to knit with two colours, (also known as stranded or Fair Isle knitting) with two hands, each carrying one colour. No more tangled yarns! We will be making a two-colour patterned headband on circular needles.

Prerequisite: Knowledge of knitting in the round using circular needles is a necessity. Participants will be required to cast on with one colour and knit a few rows of stocking stitch prior to class (directions will be provided).

instructor: Kathy Lea

$50.00 + HST

Note that this class is in two parts:
Part 1 - Sunday, February 21st, 11-1 pm
Part 2 - Sunday, February 28th, 11-2 pm
