Drop Spindle - Spin Your Own Yarn!
Learn the very satisfying craft of making yarn by using a spinning stick - a drop spindle. You'll leave the class knowing how to twist fibre to form yarn. While we're practicing, we'll talk about washing wool, carding the fleece, combing the fleece and fibre tools. This class is for beginners who want to explore an easy, affordable, portable and relaxing way to make yarn.
Prerequisites: None

Fee: $70 (includes a drop spindle and 1/4 lb/125g of fibre)
